Learning Japanese in Drama!
Workshop Schedule: 10 Sessions with 2 hours per session on every Wednesday.
Theatrical scene in connecting the classroom, make learning Japanese easier. Finally, a simple scenario will be published.
Target Student：Suitable those peoples who are interested in Japanese, Drama, and Japanese Culture.

Lam Pui Lim Anson
Artistic Director and Actor or Yakuha Theatre.
Anson graduated from Industrial in Design BA(Hon) of Hong Kong Polytechnic and Theatre Acting BA(Hon), Drama School of Nihon University, Art school (Tokyo, Japan).He was a resident actor of Tokyo Theatre Kaze ,TPT (Theatre Project Tokyo) and Chung Ying Theatre Company(Hong Kong). He also acted in several TV programmes in Japan such as the regular in’SMAP x SMAP’ and he is the lead in the Japanese film ‘My Lyrical Times’, which won four awards in The 31st PIA Film Festival (Japan). His recent important theatre works included: ‘Shed skin’, ‘Elephant man’, ‘Inspector calls’, ‘The message’, ‘Exit’and ‘White night’. He was nominated as the best actor by ‘Exit’ of Chung Ying Theatre Company in The 5th Hong Kong little Theatre Libre.
He established Yakusha Theatre in 2013, which mainly produce work and event related to Japan theatre and art in order to introduce quality works and artists from Japan to Hong Kong. He believes that art and culture exchange can break through the wall between two countries and bring love and peace through art from theatre, from life to the universe.
His translated Japanese plays included:‘University of Laughs’(written by Mitani Koki), ‘Miss Naoko’(written by Mukoda Kuniko), ‘My good husband’(written by Nakatani Mayumi’,‘Shed skin’and ‘Earthen Pipe’(written by Tsukuda Norihiko). He also corpereated with Hong Kong and Japan organizations to develop his work of cultural exchange such as NHK Japan Broadcasting Corporation, New Nation Theatre Tokyo, Noda Map, RTHK and Hong Kong Drama Federation of Societies.He was a lecturer in Japanese acting course of HKU SPACE and Japan theatre studies in The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts.
