“The Invisible X” is a “deconstructed orthodox detective fiction” novel.
In the classroom, a university professor simulates the structure of the orthodox detective fiction Whodunit by playing a “Find the Teaching Assistant” game. Almost all the “bridges” used in the history of detective fiction can be found in the various hypotheses proposed by the participating students. The audience is like the students, taking a “Appreciation of Detective Fiction – Creation and Analysis” general education course, and participating in the search for “who is the culprit”. This performance is one of the activities in the “Detective Space – Local Reconstruction” series, and also features Hong Kong Stage Drama Award “Best Actor” Fung Luk-tak as a performer.
