作家出道殺人事件

The editor from the publishing house approached Azu and told him that in order to make a debut, he must first commit murder to write plots with a soul and achieve great success in the literary world. Azu then learned that many renowned mystery writers had also personally committed murders…

“To make a debut, you must kill someone first.”

As a writer who aspires to create the perfect crime mystery novel, Azu encounters a disrespectful drama student during his part-time job, igniting resentment within him. Reflecting on the editor’s words, a desire to kill gradually grows, and he begins to plan an inexplicable locked-room murder on the university campus. However, as the police investigation unfolds, more layers of truth are gradually revealed… Who is the real culprit? Are people’s identities consistent inside and out? Is the truth really that important?

Adapted from the mystery work “The Diogenes Variations” by Hong Kong novelist Chan Ho-kei, “Writer Kills, Killer Writes ” pushes the limits of deduction on stage, challenging intellect and insight, and revealing all the mysteries only in the final moments.
