2011 Community Cultural Ambassador

“2 or 3 Things I Know about North West” is a programme which includes diversify interests programme and performances. It aims at sowing seeds of arts and culture, making them grow in every part of the city.
Introduction
Yuen Long, Tuen Mun and Tin Shui Wai are some of the fastest-growing districts in Hong Kong. Within a decade, there is a rapid population growth within these districts which brings up a million population.
“Communion, City, Creativity” – we unite the NGOs within the districts and design a series of programme for Cantonese and Mandarin-speaking teenagers. Through the programmes, we encourage teenagers to express their wishes and visions towards the community with their creativity.

Fun Fair
District groups will be invited to set up game counters to enhance communitcations with the community. The fair promotes creative artistic events and at the same time provokes social engaged art initiatives.

Short Play
With collective materials from workshops, professional director will lead a group to perform in a short play “City Life is So Good” during the fun fair, casting their visions towards the community. Programme details of “City Life is So Good” Short Play and “Tin Shui Wai Drama Hub” Finale Performance will be announced later.
