Project Description

Date:Nov 24-Dec 4, 2022

神探福邇,字摩斯

If the greatest detective of the 19th century were not a Victorian Englishman but a Chinese man born during the late Qing dynasty…

Detective Holmes, was born in the fourth year of the Xianfeng era and was active during the Guangxu period. His exploits were documented by his lifelong friend, Dr. Hua Sheng, and he became a sensation during the late Qing and early Republican periods.

The story takes place in Hong Kong in the 1880s. Hua Sheng, originally a soldier in the Qing army, retired due to injury and eventually arrived in Hong Kong, where he made a living using his family’s medical skills. By chance, he met an extraordinary talent, Fu Er, who was well-versed in both Chinese and Western knowledge and possessed remarkable deductive abilities. The two quickly became close friends, entangled in a web of murder and danger, and joined forces to solve cases amidst the knife and sword play of the underworld.
